Dr. K. Sree Latha is an accomplished academician, administrator, researcher, and education leader with over 25 years of distinguished experience in engineering education. She currently serves as the Professor of Electrical & Electronics Engineering and Principal of Dr. K.V. Subba Reddy Institute of Technology (Autonomous), Dupadu, Kurnool. She graduated in Electrical & Electronics Engineering and obtained her M.Tech. in Electrical Power Systems from JNT University, Anantapuramu, Andhra Pradesh. She earned her Ph.D. in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from JNT University, Anantapur in 2018. Dr. Sree Latha began her academic career as a Lecturer at Madanapalle Institute of Technology & Science (MITS) and has since served in several reputed engineering institutions across India in various academic and administrative capacities, including Lecturer, Professor, Head of the Department, and Principal. Before joining Dr. K.V. Subba Reddy Institute of Technology, she served as the Principal of St. Peter's Engineering College, Hyderabad. An ardent believer in Outcome-Based Education (OBE), Dr. Sree Latha has played a pivotal role in institutional development by successfully leading initiatives that resulted in NBA Accreditation, NAAC Accreditation, NIRF participation, and the attainment of Autonomous Status for engineering institutions under her leadership. Her research interests include: * Power Systems * Flexible AC Transmission Systems (FACTS) * Renewable Energy Sources * Grid Stability Analysis * Electric Vehicles * Intelligent Controllers for Renewable Energy Systems Dr. Sree Latha has guided numerous B.Tech., M.Tech., and Ph.D. scholars and has published more than 50 research papers in reputed national and international journals and conference proceedings. Her scholarly contributions primarily focus on renewable energy integration, stability analysis of grid-connected systems, and electric vehicle technologies. She has made notable contributions to innovation and intellectual property, with: * Four published patents * One granted Design Patent * One granted Utility Patent Her commitment to research and faculty development has attracted significant external funding. She secured grants worth ₹15 lakhs from various funding agencies for organizing Faculty Development Programmes (FDPs) and Short-Term Training Programmes (STTPs). She also received ₹6 lakhs under the AICTE AQIS Prerana Scheme for supporting SC and ST students. Under her visionary leadership, numerous academic events, faculty development initiatives, conferences, workshops, and expert lectures have been successfully organized. She actively promotes research, innovation, and industry collaboration within the academic community. Dr. Sree Latha has received several prestigious recognitions, including: * Best Principal Award by EduSkills (2023) * Outstanding Achievement Awardby ESS and iDEAAS, Malaysia (April 2024) * Best Principal Award (Super Women Category) by ESI Publications (December 2024) She also participated in the AICTE–UKIERI Leadership Development Programme and earned the CMI Level 5 Certificate in Leadership awarded through the British Council. Her professional contributions extend beyond teaching and administration. She has served as: *Reviewer for reputed international journals *Convener of international conferences *Technical Session Chair at international conferences held in India, Malaysia, and Thailand *Member of the UGC Committee for granting autonomy to Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) *Member of various Boards of Studies in Electrical & Electronics Engineering *Member of several professional engineering societies Dr. Sree Latha has consistently demonstrated excellence in academic leadership, institutional governance, consultancy, research, and quality assurance. Her expertise in implementing Outcome-Based Education, promoting renewable energy technologies, and strengthening academia–industry collaboration has significantly contributed to engineering education. Known for her exceptional organizational abilities, strategic vision, and inclusive leadership, she inspires faculty members and students alike to pursue excellence in teaching, research, innovation, and professional development. Her unwavering dedication to academic quality, ethical values, and institutional growth continues to make a lasting impact on engineering education.

        At present she is working as a Professor of EEE and Principal of Dr.K.V.Subba Reddy Institute of Technology ,Dupadu, Kurnool.

She has the great Organizational skills and experience. She is an able Administrator and has experience as a Professor and HoD in various Engineering Colleges before he assumed the office of Principal of this Institution.
